WATTS PROJECT

“We rescue them, We rehab them, We love them, We let go of them… and then we do it all over again.”

Watts Project started off 15 years ago as a one volunteer rescue effort when founder, Amanda Casarez, began helping animals in her `hometown of Watts. On September 2013, Watts Project became a 501c3 non profit organization.

Volunteers work hand in hand with underserved communities to bring awareness of the importance of spay & neuter and responsible pet ownership.
They provide homeless and low income pet owners with food, veterinary care, and other much needed supplies and pet care.
Watts Project is dedicated to rescuing abused, neglected, and injured animals off the streets and shelters of Watts, South LA, and Compton California.
